Floriets Studio was born out of a love for florals that last, established in 2024. I’m Jess, the floral creator and have a long history with everlastings. I loved to find wild flowers as a child, look them up in a big flower book and press them to keep. Re-discovering my passion for lasting flowers many years later led me to research and experiment with drying techniques, discovering what works best for each flower to keep their colour and shape. I went on to learn floral design techniques and floristry skills, although I avoid the ‘floristry rules’ to let my instincts and imagination lead. As well as ‘immortalising’ flowers by way of drying and photographing, I also recreate floral beauty from soft metals and continue to expand the range of hand cut botanical art working with brass, aluminium and copper.

Flowers are deeply personal. They’ve been known to convey meanings and messages for centuries, sometimes overtly and sometimes in secret codes like the Floriography of the Victorian era. I love to hear your flower stories and connect over what they mean to you and why.

Floriets designs are intended to capture your special moments and offer a more thoughtful alternative to fresh flowers… they don’t wilt in a week… they don’t rush… they can settle into your space for as long as you like.

Every Floriets piece is handmade in the UK using dried flowers and soft metals, for you to enjoy without the pressure of replacement or waste. I truly believe that flowers should feel personal, not disposable.
